Bruce Wiles
Managing Director and Principal


Bruce Wiles most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Alcor, a hotel investment subsidiary of Blackstone Real Estate. Alcor acquired the assets of MeriStar Hospitality Corporation. Mr. Wiles had been the President and Chief Operating Officer of MeriStar after serving as Chief Investment Officer of MeriStar and its hotel management affiliate, Interstate Hotels & Resorts. MeriStar was one of the industry's largest real estate investment trusts which specialized in hotel ownership. Interstate was the world's largest independent hotel management company with 420 managed properties in seven countries.

At MeriStar/Interstate, Mr. Wiles oversaw all aspects of hotel acquisition and investment including management contract development and hotel acquisitions while also overseeing capital expenditures. As Chief Operating Officer of MeriStar, he directed the growth of the Company's operating results and improvement of its operating assets. He was associated with companies from 1998-2006.

Mr. Wiles was previously the Executive Vice President of American General Hospitality Corporation, a hotel REIT which merged with CapStar Hotels & Resorts to form MeriStar. The merger occurred two years after an initial public offering in which Mr. Wiles was a driving force. Mr. Wiles was also Executive Vice President-Development and Investment of that company's affiliated hotel management company. The manager grew from a manager of 18 hotels at Mr. Wiles' association to over 100 properties in five years and ranked as one of the US' largest independent hotel managers. Mr. Wiles joined American General in 1989. Prior to joining AGHI, Bruce served as Senior Vice President-Business Development for Brock Hotels which owned a variety of hotels and restaurant operations.

Mr. Wiles has developed and acquired hotels and other commercial real estate since 1982. He founded his own commercial brokerage and investment firm, Bruce Wiles & Associates, Ltd. after serving as President of R.W. Pulley and Associates. R. W. Pulley was a developer of condominiums in Hawaii, owner of fast food franchises and served as the general partner of 45 limited partnerships which owned commercial properties. He previously worked for the international accounting firms of Grant Thorton and KPMG specializing in the real estate, lending and construction industries. Bruce graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with a BSBA degree. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Hawaii and Maryland.
