Managing Director
Mr. Kammerer is presently on the Board of Directors for and Chairman
of the Fundraising Committee for Rebuilding Together. Mr. Kammerer
is responsible for asset management and serves as a member of the
Fund´s Investment Committee. Mr. Kammerer has 20 years of hotel
investment management experience which includes asset renovations
and repositioning, property management and due diligence.
Prior to joining Thayer in 1991, Mr. Kammerer was instrumental in
the creation of Grand Heritage Hotels, where he served as the
company´s first general manager. Prior to his experience at
Grand Heritage, Mr. Kammerer was associated with several hotel
companies including Loews Hotels, Radisson and several independent
hotels.
Mr. Kammerer attended the University of Maryland, and was a past
Director of the Annapolis Convention and Visitors Bureau.
