Special Assistant to the Chairman & CEO
Mr. Zhang has been involved in the travel and lodging industry for more than a decade. In his current role, Mr. Zhang assists the Company CEO in leading the company's new initiatives and acquisition strategies for Thayer Fund IV. Before that, he was the Director of Finance and Corporate Strategy for Thayer portfolio hotels.
Prior to joining Thayer Lodging Group in 1997, Mr. Zhang held various hotel executive positions for major international hotel chains including Accor, Marriott, Intercontinental and Hilton in both Asia and North America.
Mr. Zhang graduated from the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University and holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School.
