Doubletree Hotels Introduces Requests Upon Arrival(TM) Guest Service Program at 190 North America Hotels
Innovative Program Enables Guests To Personalize Their Stays In Several Ways By Pre-Ordering Personal
Touches and Amenities Prior To Hotel Arrival

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Nov 10, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Doubletree Hotels announces the launch of its latest
initiative, which provides business and leisure travelers with the opportunity to personalize their hotel
stays before they arrive at the hotel. The Doubletree Requests Upon Arrival guest service program offers
guests the opportunity to pre-order an array of complimentary items, delicious snacks and beverages; and
distinctive products and services to be delivered to the guest's room prior to arriving at any Doubletree
hotel in North America. From fresh fruits and fun surprises for the kids to room upgrades and romantic rose
petals on the bed, guests can now add a personal touch to their stay when booking travel at more than 190
participating Doubletree hotels and resorts.
"Doubletree continues to explore ways to empower our guests with choices that will enrich their travel
experiences and ensure their time with us is satisfying, relaxing and enjoyable," said Mary Beth Parks,
vice president -- marketing for Doubletree Hotels. "Now, through our Doubletree Requests Upon Arrival
program, guests have an opportunity to personalize their stays more than ever before by selecting added
conveniences to help them make the most of their travel time."
Doubletree Requests Upon Arrival selections feature complimentary items, for-purchase food and beverage
choices and destination-specific services and upgrades. Some of the complimentary items available include
additional foam or down pillows, extra towels and rollaway beds. An assortment of food and beverage offerings
available for pre-order and purchase include trays of chocolate covered strawberries; bottles of red, white
and sparkling wines(1); and gourmet cheese plates.
Many participating Doubletree hotels feature a variety of specialized, for-purchase amenities and options
at many hotels including the rental of an extra mini refrigerator or microwave, or purchase of a room upgrade
with city skyline or oceanfront views. At selected hotels, guests will find a selection of refreshingly unique
Requests Upon Arrival such as:
- Castle Creature: This locally-inspired stuffed animal available at the Doubletree Castle Hotel --
- Orlando is an appealing surprise to have waiting for kids when they arrive at the hotel for a
family vacation. The colorful creature also serves as a perfect souvenir for busy moms and dads to
bring home for their sons and daughters during their travels.
- PURE Room Upgrade: If you are one of the millions of Americans affected by allergies, the PURE
guestroom upgrade at the Doubletree Hotel Bethesda may be the perfect room request for your
allergy-friendly stay. Both the air and water in the PURE guestrooms are purified with specially
designed cleaning units 24 hours a day. All of the surfaces in these remarkable guestrooms, including
special pillow covers and mattress, are treated to reduce allergens and resist spores and dust mites.
- Everything Vermont: In the "Everything Vermont" gift basket available at the Doubletree Hotel
Burlington, each item has been hand-selected to represent an assortment of fine products made
exclusively in Vermont. Some of the delicious items to enjoy during a great Doubletree stay include
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Fair Trade Organic and House Blend coffee, Ben & Jerry's ice cream
cone (free coupon), Sugarwoods Farm maple syrup, and Cabot Creamery Cheddar Cheese. This amenity
provides guests with a great way to get a taste of the delicious state of Vermont and bring even
more local flavor to their time away.

expansion of the same initiative, bringing the number of locations that offer this guest selection service
to more than 450 Hilton Family hotels and resorts across North America.
